SCORR Marketing Receives PR Campaign Award

SCORR Marketing Receives Award for Successful Public Relations Campaign

SCORR Marketing, a Nebraska-based strategic marketing agency focused on corporate identity/branding, public relations and media communications, advertising and interactive/Web design and development, is proud to be a recipient of a 2010 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Nebraska Chapter Paper Anvil award presented during PRSA’s Gala Awards Banquet in Omaha, Nebraska, on Thursday, December 9, 2010.

SCORR Marketing received an award of merit in the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Campaign category for the Company’s work completed on the Firecrest Drug Information Association (DIA) IMC Campaign. Firecrest, headquartered in Limerick, Ireland, is an e-technology solutions provider that definitively enhances investigator site performance. Requirements for this submission included at least three forms of marketing communications—public relations, measurable results and communication strategies and tactics. Work on the Firecrest campaign was a total SCORR Marketing team effort, from the detailed correspondence in creating the step-by-step plan, to the promotional design pieces carried throughout the plan, to the media (social and traditional) and public relations activities involved to implement the plan.

“Each and every person on the SCORR Marketing team put forth their efforts to make this campaign for Firecrest come together,” stated SCORR Marketing President Cinda Orr. “Our entire communications and design team devoted a great deal of time to making this campaign truly successful. We are very pleased to have received this award for one of our global clients in another department and service we offer at SCORR.”

The PRSA Nebraska Chapter hosts more than 200 professionals as members. PRSA Nebraska Chapter membership includes representatives from non-profit, agency, corporate and government entities.

More than 75 individuals and companies were recognized at PRSA’s annual awards gala. Awards were presented in 25 categories that ranged from integrated marketing communications campaigns to blogs and special events. According to PRSA Nebraska President Kristine Gerber, “the Paper Anvil winners represent the best of the best.”
