SCORR Marketing Employee Anniversaries Highlight Expertise in Drug Development Services and Health Care Industries

(Kearney, Neb.; Sept. 24, 2015) — SCORR Marketing, a global full-service marketing and communications firm, has four employees celebrating anniversaries of three or more years with SCORR this quarter.

“One of SCORR’s largest differentiators is the level of marketing expertise our employees have specifically in the health sciences area,” said Cinda Orr, president and CEO. “They have helped establish a degree of in-depth knowledge other marketing firms cannot match, and I’m proud of their accomplishments.”

Brook Pierce, creative services director, has been influential in the creative execution of campaigns and materials for a number of the drug development services industry’s largest brands since she joined SCORR in 2007, including DPT Confab, Evidera and Theorem Clinical Research. Pierce’s work has earned SCORR and its clients recognition and awards from various organizations, such as the American Advertising Federation, American Marketing Association and the Healthcare Advertising Awards.

Christine Wigert, senior director of program and account services, joined the team in 2008. Wigert has a breadth of knowledge in drug development services and clinical research and manages a portfolio of clients including Chiltern, INC Research, Frenova and Theorem. She has also been instrumental in developing and implementing countless brand strategies, assisting companies with acquisitions and training the account services team.

Mark Orr, market analyst, began at SCORR in 2010 and has accumulated more than 20 years of market intelligence experience in his career. Orr’s research has played a vital role in the creation of countless brand strategies, including Camargo, LabConnect and WellSpring. He helps SCORR clients stay at the forefront of industry trends by conducting internal and external assessments, including customized analytical dashboards, client satisfaction assessments, client retention monitoring and lost opportunity surveys.

Lea Studer, vice president of marketing communications, joined SCORR in 2012 and has more than 20 years of experience leading the development and implementation of award-winning marketing and communication strategies and tactics. Studer leads SCORR’s communications and digital teams and ensures SCORR clients have the right message, in the right place and at the right time to maximize visibility with target audiences. In 2015, she has led the development of surveys with Applied Clinical Trials, CenterWatch and Pharmaceutical Outsourcing to provide valuable information on key topics and trends in the drug development services industry. The survey conducted with CenterWatch, “What Contract Research Organizations Value in a Partner: Striving for Success, Settling for Mediocrity,” was presented at the Drug Information Association (DIA) annual meeting.
