SCORR Gives Back Over the Holiday Season
SCORR Marketing Wraps Up the Holiday Season By Giving More Than Strategic Marketing Advice

Over the Thanksgiving and Christmas season, SCORR Marketing has sponsored and supported a total of six families for the local S.A.F.E. Center, providing food, clothing, toys and personal essentials.
“We really liked the idea of donating our efforts to a local organization right here in Kearney,” stated SCORR Marketing President and CEO, Cinda Orr. “As a local business, we wanted to give back to another organization within the Kearney community that has a strong effect on this region; for us, that choice was the S.A.F.E. Center. You truly get to experience the spirit of the holiday season when participating and volunteering at an organization you know will touch and make a difference in someone else’s life.”
SCORR Marketing employees sponsored three families over Thanksgiving, giving Thanksgiving “starter kit” baskets filled with boxed goods for a Thanksgiving feast and gift certificates to a local grocery store to the families. For Christmas, SCORR Marketing employees personally sponsored three more families, filling gift boxes for children and mothers with both practical items and desired gifts.
“I was very impressed and could not be more proud of our team’s enthusiasm in moving forward with the holiday giving. They took the two projects into their own hands and really proved what the holidays are all about,” stated Orr.
The S.A.F.E. Center, established in 1978, is a local, non-profit organization providing secure and confidential services, programs and advocacy for individuals and families who have experienced dating, domestic or sexual violence. Serving Buffalo, Franklin, Harlan, Kearney and Phelps counties, the S.A.F.E. Center provides information and resources to empower victims, helping to create positive changes in their lives.
