TKL Research Provides Unique Informational Sessions at DIA

As part of an ongoing effort to share information and expertise with the CRO community, TKL Research, an award-winning, full-service clinical research organization (CRO), will offer a series of informational sessions on a variety of clinical monitoring topics at the Drug Information Association (DIA) 52nd Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, June 26-30.

Lynn King, Senior Director, Clinical Operations, and Sonja VanWye, Project Director, Clinical Operations, will each lead several 30-minute discussions on topics including risk-based monitoring, clinical monitoring plans, effective vendor oversight when conducting global clinical trials, and strategies for successful sponsor/CRO relationships. See the schedule and presentation descriptions for more information.

Additionally, King will share her presentation savvy during the workshop, “Powerful Presentations,” from 2:45 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 26. The workshop will demonstrate critical elements to include and avoid when developing and delivering presentations in many different environments.

A veteran research professional with more than 20 years of experience in drug development, King is a proven leader versed in hands-on clinical monitoring and project management as well as coaching, mentoring and training in both CRO and pharmaceutical environments.

VanWye is a licensed registered nurse who has been in the clinical research industry for over 20 years. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her role at TKL Research. Her extensive clinical experience includes clinical operations, quality assurance, GCP services, project management and data management across several therapeutic areas, such as dermatology, women’s health, oncology, CNS, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, respiratory and cardiology, as well as medical devices.

VanWye has also been an instructor at Wilmington University and is a veteran speaker at numerous events, including DIA, SQA Annual Meeting and EXL Pharma.

King and VanWye will join other TKL experts at DIA and will be available to meet at the company’s exhibit at Booth 803. Visit TKL at DIA and learn more about its capabilities at tklresearch.com.
