SCORR Marketing to Present on Strategic Brand Positioning at ACP-LS Annual Meeting

(Kearney, Neb.; August 19, 2015)SCORR Marketing, a global full-service marketing and communications firm, will present at the 2015 Association of Commercial Professionals – Life Sciences (ACP-LS) Annual Meeting September 10-11. Lauren Naughton, the head of business development at SCORR Marketing, will discuss the process of positioning and developing a brand in the life sciences industry.

The presentation, “Strategy Behind Creating Differentiated Positioning and Brand Development in the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) Space,” will cover the challenges that CROs face when repositioning and trying to differentiate themselves within the market. Naughton will walk through the proven process of using internal and external research to gauge perceptions, conducting competitive analysis to evaluate the industry and developing a road map to determine a company’s value proposition.

“With the continuous movement of companies in the market, especially following mergers and acquisitions, positioning is a hurdle faced by CROs,” said Naughton. “I’ll address the most common challenges companies face, including how to differentiate a brand in a largely undifferentiated market.”

For individuals involved in the sales, marketing or commercial operations of a life science services company — including CROs, contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), equipment/supply manufacturers and consultancies — the ACP-LS Annual Meeting is an opportunity to network and discuss key industry issues. This year’s meeting takes place in San Mateo, Calif. Learn more about the event, review the schedule of events and register to attend at ACP-LS.org.
