Experts Examine Data Integration for Solid Organ Transplant Programs at OTTR User International Conference

Among the experts speaking at the OTTR User International Conference was David Zwerski, assistant vice president of the MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute, who spoke about the institute’s efforts to establish an integrated transplant platform. Zwerski has worked in health care management for over 30 years, focusing on improving overall efficiency while maintaining patient focus and high standards of care.
Additionally, Adam Bacigalupo, discussed the data conversion, analytics and visualization possible through MedStar’s partnership with OTTR. As transplant data coordinator at MedStar, his experience includes utilizing performance quality improvement metrics to improve provider efficiency and ultimately, patient care.
