CRI Lifetree Expert Lynn Webster, MD, to Discuss Human Abuse Liability at DIA Annual Meeting
Dr. Lynn Webster, CRI Lifetree’s chief medical director and one of the country’s foremost authorities on pain clinical research and human abuse liability testing, will be sharing his HAL expertise during a workshop at the 2013 Drug Information Association Annual Meeting.
Webster will discuss “Human Abuse Liability Testing in CNS Drug Development” from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 25 in room 156C.
“Human abuse liability data supplies critical information for a new drug application for most central nervous system drugs,” said Webster, MD. “This workshop will address the FDA’s guidance including the new guidance for products that may be scheduled under one of the four tiers of labeling in the Controlled Substances Act. We will discuss how to recognize when HAL studies are indicated, the appropriate goals for a study as well as correct methodology and regulatory considerations.”
