Biden Cancer Initiative, Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Novartis and Others Support Bridging Clinical Research & Clinical Health Care Collaborative
The Bridging Clinical Research & Clinical Health Care Collaborative, to be held April 4-5 near Washington, D.C., will bring together leaders from pharma, biotech, clinical research organizations, health care organizations, advocacy groups and the FDA with the goal of doubling the number of physicians and patients involved in clinical research — from less than 3 percent up to 6 percent.
The event, which has three focus areas — regulatory, technology, and people and processes — will feature many prominent speakers, including:
- Badhri Srinivasan, ABD, MS, head of global development operations, Novartis; collaborative chair
- Janet Woodcock, MD, director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research; keynote speaker
