BD Construction Announces Promotion and Additions to Kearney Team
(Kearney, NE; September 3, 2014) — BD Construction, Inc., one of the Midwest’s leading construction companies, announces the promotion of Jon Mosbarger to assistant project manager, and the additions of J. Roger Stone, superintendent, and Megan Colling, real estate/development manager.
“We’re expanding to ensure the same service and dedication our clients have come to expect,” said Mark Benjamin, president of BD Construction. “We’re excited to maximize Jon’s background and education, and Roger’s and Megan’s extensive experience and leadership skills allow us to expand our services.”
While pursuing a degree in construction management at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), Mosbarger completed an internship with BD Construction. As assistant project manager, he supports project managers throughout all aspects of the construction process. Mosbarger is a member of the American Concrete Institute.
Stone has 35 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically commercial field engineering. As superintendent, he manages day-to-day operations for a range of construction projects. He previously owned a concrete construction company and has an associate degree in construction management from Illinois Community College in Peoria, Ill. Stone is a wish granter and volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska and is on the advisory board for Mission to Haiti.
As real estate/development manager, Colling oversees various development and investment opportunities. Previously, she was the event director for the Kearney Chamber of
Commerce. Colling attended UNK and the Institute for Organizational Management, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. She is a member of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce Envoys.
