Inside Sales Specialist

Kearney or Omaha, NE Preferred (Flexible)

SCORR Marketing is seeking a full-time inside sales specialist to focus on building sales opportunities. Your goal will be to identify, qualify, and nurture new sales opportunities then collaborate with business development team members to drive leads through the sales pipeline. The right candidate can be based in our Kearney or Omaha, NE, office locations, or may work remotely from home.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop new sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential clients while soliciting new accounts, building rapport, and providing SCORR information and explanations during the sales process
  • Communicate with prospects via telephone or email to identify appropriate contacts: Qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline
  • Perform analysis of prospects’ needs and requirements
  • Qualify leads from campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, and more
  • Create and maintain a database/list of prospect clients in HubSpot and other CRM platforms, while interacting with both marketing and sales
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate business development team member for further development and closure
  • Keep senior director of business development, vice president of marketing services, and business development team informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing advertising, or a similar area of study
  • Minimum of two years of insides sales experience and proven track record meeting KPIs
  • Familiarity with sales life cycle management, including use of CRM tools

Desired Qualifications

  • B2B marketing experience, especially within the drug development/life sciences industry
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Marketing agency experience
