Director of Business Development

We are seeking a full-time Director of Business Development to join our team and work with the support and direction of the Senior Director of Business Development. The right candidate will be based in our Kearney or Omaha, NE, office, or may work remotely.

Job Responsibilities:
• Build, maintain, and manage a sales opportunity pipeline in the health science space
• Schedule, deliver, and create capabilities presentations
• Identify and actively seek new global opportunities for SCORR in collaboration with business development representative
• Research the latest in the health science industry to understand trends and create new opportunities
• Support contracts and proposals administrator
• Maintain communication and answer inquiries from potential clients
• Attend industry trade shows, road shows, and potential client meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a similar area of study
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar field
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to all levels in the organization
• Familiarity with Microsoft programs and CRM tools

Desired Qualifications:
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Prior HubSpot and CRM experience is a plus
• Knowledge of health science, health care, or life science industries
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Marketing agency experience is a plus
