Account Strategist

SCORR Marketing is seeking a full-time Account Strategist to propel and elevate the strategic goals of SCORR clients within the health care science industry. The right candidate can be based in Kearney or Omaha, NE, or may work remotely from home.

Job Responsibilities
• Foster client relationships (maintain, strengthen, and grow) while driving comprehensive strategy, oversight, and execution of comprehensive omnichannel marketing initiatives/plans
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive team members
• Operate as the lead client point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts
• Establish client’s marketing goals and strategies, and be able to clearly communicate these expectations to the SCORR team
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and strategic objectives
• Clearly communicate and prepare reports related to the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Skillfully be able to adapt quickly and easily to client’s changing requests and/or needs
• Partner with Project Managers (PM) to ensure client needs are met on time, on budget, and on strategy
• Approve and review all deliverables prior to being viewed by clients, ensuring they are strategically on point and that all agreed requirements are met and to SCORR’s standard of quality
• Identify problems, develop and implement effective solutions which result in both client and team satisfaction
• Work collaboratively with co-workers and SCORR Management and Leadership team
• Comfortable working with individuals in all levels of the client organization, including strong skills interacting with C-suite and senior-level management
• Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
• Develop new business with existing clients through consultative selling, and/or identify areas of improvement to meet organizational sales goals
• Proactively seek out knowledge of marketing mediums and client industries
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., annual forecasts)


• 5-7 years of related work experience in advertising, marketing, or B2B marketing with a full-service agency, preferably with a focus in life science, health care, or pharmaceuticals
• Experienced B2B marketer, skilled at developing holistic, omnichannel integrated marketing plans as well as developing, driving, and deploying strategy
• Able to work in a fast-paced, quality and results focused environment
• Must be able to simultaneously focus on big picture, details, and driving results
• Strategic and growth mindset paired with exceptional critical-thinking skills
• Solution oriented
• Proactive and thorough communicator, both verbal and written
• Experienced in B2B marketing and/or marketing in the life sciences industry
• Travel may be required, as necessary

• Demonstrable ability to communicate with, present to, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Perform duties and tasks independently, with little supervision
• Provide high level and high touch client service
• Experience in effectively managing cross-functional teams/projects, including brand strategy, copy, creative, PR, and technical resources for website development and digital marketing campaigns
