    SCORR Marketing Scores Logo in the LogoLounge® Masterworks Book Series

The EZStash Online Storage logo was chosen out of over 34,000 logos submitted.

    The EZStash Online Storage logo has been selected for inclusion in the upcoming LogoLounge project, “Shapes and Symbols,” the third book in the new Master Library series. SCORR Marketing created the logo for EZStash Online Storage, an automated online backup system in North Platte, Nebraska, that simplifies downloading and transferring data. Graphic Designers Andrea Trew and Janelle Reed and Creative Director Ben Rowe were key in the design of this logo.

    Honored for excellence in advertising, SCORR Marketing, a full-service marketing and public relations firm with locations in both Kearney and Omaha, is the proud recipient of three recognitions in this year’s 2010 Aster Awards competition.

    The Aster Awards, one of the largest national competitions of its kind, is hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today magazine and Creative Images, Inc. This elite program recognizes outstanding marketing organizations for excellence in their advertising and marketing efforts in 2009.

    The 2010 Aster Awards received approximately 3,000 entries from across the United States, as well as Canada and South America. Participants competed against similar-sized organizations in their category. A score in at least the top 85 percentile is necessary to receive an award. Judging criteria includes creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.

    “It was an honor to have SCORR Marketing participate in the 2010 Aster Awards competition. They placed in the top 5% of the nation. The quality of this year’s entries went well beyond the judges’ expectations,” said Melinda R. Lucas, Aster Awards Program Coordinator.

    SCORR Marketing received respective Gold and Silver Asters in the Pharmaceutical, Total Advertising Campaign category for both the DaVita Clinical Research “Patients is a Virtue” campaign through the work of Designers Janelle Reed/Brandy Nichols, Account Executive Justin Rolfes and Creative Director Ben Rowe and for the Frontage “Moving Your Compound Forward” campaign through the work of Account Executive Christine Wigert and Designer and Creative Director Ben Rowe. In addition, SCORR also received a Bronze Aster in the Pharmaceutical, Direct Mail Piece category for the ACR Image Metrix™ viewfinder promotional mailing through the work of Designer Brook Carpenter, Account Executive Justin Rolfes and Creative Director Ben Rowe.

    The Healthcare Advertising Awards is a national competition that began its efforts with the goal in mind to recognize the field of healthcare marketing and advertising. Today, the industry has matured into a sophisticated and competitive field, meeting the needs of knowledgeable prospects who are making their own healthcare decisions. The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition.

    Over 4,000 entries were received in this year’s competition, making the awards the largest in healthcare advertising awards competition. A national panel of judges was engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

    SCORR Marketing received a silver Healthcare Advertising Award in the calendar category for the Good Samaritan Hospital calendar design through the work of Designers Janelle Reed/Brook Carpenter, Account Executive Tricia Danburg and Creative Director Ben Rowe. In addition, SCORR received two Healthcare Advertising Award merits in the Total Advertising without TV category for the DaVita Clinical Trials (DCR) “Patients is a Virtue” campaign and in the website category for the QPS Bio-Kinetic “Patient Recruiting Website” design. Work on the DCR campaign is attributed to Designers Janelle Reed/Brandy Nichols, Account Executive Justin Rolfes and Creative Director Ben Rowe, while the QPS website was credited to Designer Michael Pohl, Account Executive Christine Wigert and Creative Director Ben Rowe.

    (February 9, 2010; Kearney, NE) – SCORR Marketing, a full-service marketing and public relations firm with locations in both Kearney and Omaha, is proud to be the recipient of three Silver ADDY awards at the 17th Annual Nebraska ADDY® Awards.

    The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry’s largest competition that recognizes creative excellence in advertisers across all mediums. The Omaha Federation of Advertising and the Advertising Federation of Lincoln orchestrate the ADDY Awards for Nebraska, which took place on February 6, 2010, in Omaha, Nebraska. As part of the competition, judges from top agencies across the country are brought in to determine what projects were the most original and most creative.

    SCORR Marketing received a Silver ADDY in the Elements of Advertising Logo category for the Do or Dye Studio Salon logo through the work of Designer, Michael Pohl; Account Executive, Tricia Danburg; and Creative Director, Ben Rowe. In addition, SCORR received a Silver ADDY in the Advertising for the Arts & Sciences Campaign category for the World Theatre “90 Days to Save the World” campaign. Concluding this campaign, the World Theatre surpassed its fundraising goal in just 90 days in its attempt to preserve and restore Kearney’s last original movie house. A third Silver ADDY was awarded to SCORR Marketing in the Advertising for the Arts & Sciences Collateral category for the World Theatre VIP invitations. The work on both World Theatre projects is credited to Creative Director, Ben Rowe.

    “It was a great experience to see our team win such outstanding awards for the work we completed for these two area organizations,” stated SCORR Marketing President, Cinda Orr. “We were particularly pleased with the pro bono work done in support of the Kearney non-profit organization, the World Theatre. This accomplishment speaks measures for how marketing contributes to the success of a campaign.     Also receiving awards at the ADDYs was SCORR Marketing’s Graphic Design Intern from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), Steve Wolf, who won four student ADDY awards. He received two Gold ADDYs for his Axcess Mixtape Promotional Poster in the Student Poster category and for his Bruce Willis illustration in the Student Illustration category. He also took home two Silver ADDYs for his Evoke Tag System in the Student Point of Purchase category and for his Axcess Radio Poster in the Student Poster category.

    SCORR Marketing, a strategic marketing agency, has received five awards in the 2009 Aster Awards competition, consisting of over 3,000 entries across the U.S. The Aster Awards program is an elite competition recognizing the nation’s most talented healthcare marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising.

    SCORR Marketing received a gold award for the ACR Image Metrix pocket folder. A division of the American College of Radiology, Image Metrix is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. SCORR also received a gold award for an invitation for Ricerca Biosciences, located in Concord, Ohio. Ricerca’s unique invitations resembled a set of plane tickets consistent with their overall brand positioning, “Taking you from IP to IND”. Another gold award was received for Fort Theatre Dentistry, located in Kearney, Nebraska, in recognition of a billboard with the light-hearted concept of “Good Clean Fun”.

    SCORR received a silver award for Xcelience, specializing in early drug development, of Tampa, Florida. The successful print ad focused on Xcelience’s re-branding campaign, “At Last”. Also, SCORR received a silver award for BASi, a drug development service provider, of West Lafayette, Indiana, for the corporate logo design.

    SCORR Marketing, a strategic marketing agency, has received four awards in the 26th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards competition. Sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, over 3,600 entries were received in this year’s competition, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition.

    A national panel of judges was engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. Only 259 entries received gold awards, 251 received silver and 241 received bronze.

    SCORR received a bronze award for the ACR Image Metrix Web site. Image Metrix, a division of the American College of Radiology, is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

    SCORR Marketing was recognized with a merit award for Xcelience, specializing in early drug development, of Tampa, Florida. The successful print ad focused on Xcelience’s re-branding campaign, “At Last”. SCORR also received merit awards for BASi, a drug development service provider, of West Lafayette, Indiana, for the “I Need BASi” campaign print ad and trade show booth.
