Business Development Internship

SCORR Marketing is hiring a part-time business development intern in our Omaha office. Responsibilities include: assisting business development team with all duties, such as client prospecting, research, teleconference and meeting setup, presentation preparation and assistance, meeting follow-up, database maintenance and organization, sales budget tracking and reporting, proposal and contract review, helping to meet individual and team sales goals, proactively developing new sales strategies and programs to drive and maximize sales performance, etc.

Candidates must be seeking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing or a similar area of study. Additional qualifications include: 2+ years’ experience in service-based, business-to-business sales; strong customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to be proactive, dependable, detailed, and personable, organized and maintain confidentiality. Experience in drug development services/health care is a plus. Travel may be required.
